The Arter Quarter – a building complex with many possibilities

In Tallinn, Estonia, a group of tall buildings are being constructed – with 28, 15 and 9 storeys and a connecting central building. The new building complex is called Arter Quarter and provides a variety of possibilities.

On an area of 36,000 square meters in total, there are office spaces that are designed to a high specification as well as rental apartments. The addition of a sports club, multiple restaurants as well as green spaces around the buildings make this location very special.

The almost zero-energy building with environmentally friendly energy solutions was designed and built to the BREEAM standard “Excellent”. To cover the cooling and heating requirements of the buildings, energy piles and district cooling is used. And to ensure easy access, eleven lifts will serve the building.

The dimensions of the complex are gigantic. On the roof terrace of the 15-storey-high office building, a city garden covers more than 500 square meters.

When the entire project is finished in 2025, OBO Bettermann will be part of it. The excellent cooperation between main contractor, planners and installers has made this project so successful for all the parties involved.

The building contractors were impressed not only with the fast delivery of the products but also the proven OBO quality.

The products used in the construction include connection and fastening material, products from the lightning protection area, cable tray systems and underfloor modules.
